sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?slug=ap-beckhaminjured&prov=ap&type=lgnsFinland’s STT news agency says a doctor has completed surgery on David Beckham’s Achilles’ tendon and that the operation went well. Citing Finnish surgeon Sakari Orava, STT says the operation lasted 50 minutes. STT says Beckham will stay the night at the Mehilainen clinic in Turku, southwestern Finland. He will be out 6 to 8 months. His age is also a factor so I think it will be closer to 8 months. He wasn't going to be in the starting lineup, but his experience was going to be huge. I really do feel for him.
