I don't think they should get paid a lot, since a lot will end up making millions. However, not all of them will make it,and they should get maybe a couple hundred per game or something,as a reward for just being good enough to play at the Collegiate level. I guess that might be okay but just think about this. If the players get full rides to college, their college is paid for. If they applied for any other scholarships in college, that should be their money so they are kinda getting paid there. Another thing, I'm sure most of these athletes get paid money by several schools that are trying to get them to come to their school. It's illegal, but schools still do it.

If they get hurt, they probably will just go on rehab. You mean like career ending ones? Im sorry but this is a dumb thread IMO. If collegiate athletes start getting paid than they will start slacking. College ball has heart in it because players are trying to prove themselves by playing good basketball as an individual and as a team in order to get paid and fulfill their dreams of making it into the NBA. If they start getting paid than college ball will end up being just like the NBA. And why do they need money? They have scholarships. School is paid for. Sure they have to pay for food and some clothes but thats part of college. And for those of you talking about a "career ending injury" colleges provide players insurance for those that decide to come back to college for another year instead of going to the NBA. Players insurance can provide millions of dollars to players that suffer a career ending injury in order to pay them back for missing out on the NBA. To answer the OP's question: NOOOOOOOOO
